Ingredients
- 1 chicken or chicken breasts
- 2 carrots or more
- 1 stalk celery or more
- 1 onion (small)
- 2 potatoes or more
- salt and pepper
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch or more as needed
Method
- Cut vegetables into pieces.
- Place chicken, carrots, celery, onion, potatoes and seasoning in pot and add enough water to cover.
- Boil until tender.
- Debone chicken.
- Line a casserole dish with pie crust.
- Put chicken and vegetables in the casserole dish. Combine soup, broth and cornstarch.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Top with bread, bread crumbs or pie crust.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
