Ingredients
- 1 small can Pillar Rock salmon
- 1 egg
- 2 pieces bread, soaked in water and drained
- 1/2 onion, grated
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 3 Tbsp. Progresso bread crumbs
Method
- Drain salmon; drain and mash.
- Add broken up bread that you soaked.
- Beat up eggs and add other seasonings and mix well.
- If too soft to roll, put cracker crumbs in a plate and take enough of mixture to make a ball and roll in crumbs to be firm.
- Fry in enough grease, turning it twice so it will be golden brown.
- Drain on brown paper.
- Makes 5 croquettes.
- Can be made into patty.
