Ingredients

  • 1 small can Pillar Rock salmon
  • 1 egg
  • 2 pieces bread, soaked in water and drained
  • 1/2 onion, grated
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. Progresso bread crumbs

Method

  • Drain salmon; drain and mash.
  • Add broken up bread that you soaked.
  • Beat up eggs and add other seasonings and mix well.
  • If too soft to roll, put cracker crumbs in a plate and take enough of mixture to make a ball and roll in crumbs to be firm.
  • Fry in enough grease, turning it twice so it will be golden brown.
  • Drain on brown paper.
  • Makes 5 croquettes.
  • Can be made into patty.
