Ingredients
- 1 lb. butter
- 2 medium eggs
- 1 1/3 c. sugar
- 5 c. flour
- 2 tsp. almond extract
Method
- Soften or melt butter.
- Mix all ingredients well.
- Press onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 325° until firm, with bottoms lightly golden.
- Cool cookies on a wire rack.
- When cool, decorate with confectioners sugar and water and colored sugars.
