Ingredients
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 sticks margarine
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. hot water
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 2 eggs
- 6 c. bread flour
Method
- Combine sugar, margarine, salt and hot water to melt margarine.
- Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
- Combine mixtures. Beat eggs and add.
- Stir in flour.
- Cover and refrigerate.
- Will keep for several days.
- When you want rolls, pinch off walnut-sized portions of dough, working into a ball with floured hands.
- Place about an inch apart on greased pans.
- Let rise in a warm, draft-free place, covered with a lightweight dish towel for a couple of hours.
- Bake at 375° until golden (about 15 to 20 minutes).
- Makes 3 dozen.
