Ingredients

  • 1 (4 serving size) pkg. flavored gelatin
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 1 1/2 c. diced fruit such as oranges, pineapple, pears, peaches, bananas, cherries, grapes, etc.

Method

  • Pour gelatin into bowl.
  • Add 1 cup boiling water to gelatin. Stir with rubber spatula until gelatin is completely dissolved, about 2 minutes.
  • Add 1 cup cold water.
  • Using measuring cup, scoop gelatin from bowls into 6 muffin pan cups.
  • Put pan into refrigerator to chill until gelatin is thickened, about 45 minutes.
  • Take pan out of refrigerator.
  • Add fruit to each cup; stir gently.
  • Put pan into refrigerator to chill until firm, about 2 hours.
  • Put about 1-inch of warm water in sink.
  • Dip just bottom of pan into warm water for 5 seconds.
