Ingredients
- 1 small head cabbage, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 can water (tomato soup can)
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. instant rice (uncooked)
Method
- Place chopped cabbage in bottom of 3-quart casserole.
- Brown meat and onions.
- Pour off fat.
- Stir in rice, salt and pepper. Spread meat over cabbage with spoon.
- Mix tomato soup with water and pour over mixture.
- Cover and bake at 350° for approximately 1 1/2 hours or until cabbage is soft.
- Serves 4 to 5.
