Ingredients
- 3 to 6 lb. roast of beef
- 1 onion, chopped in big pieces
- 5 to 6 carrots, chopped in big pieces
- 5 medium peeled and chopped potatoes
- 2 pkg. onion soup mix
- 1 c. water
- meat tenderizer
Method
- You will need a large crock-pot or slow cooker.
- Prick the roast and sprinkle with meat tenderizer. Place all veggies in the pot. Sprinkle a little soup mix, then place meat on top. Add water and cover. Cook on low setting for 7 hours.
