Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped
  • 3 sticks celery, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. oleo
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 c. cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. chow mein noodles

Method

  • Saute onion, celery and green pepper until tender, using the oleo.
  • Fry meat slowly until slightly brown.
  • Add to vegetables. Add soup, salt and pepper.
  • Bake in a covered casserole at 350° for 30 minutes.
  • Uncover.
  • Add noodles over top of casserole.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, uncovered.
  • Serve hot.
