Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 3 sticks celery, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. oleo
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 c. cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. chow mein noodles
Method
- Saute onion, celery and green pepper until tender, using the oleo.
- Fry meat slowly until slightly brown.
- Add to vegetables. Add soup, salt and pepper.
- Bake in a covered casserole at 350° for 30 minutes.
- Uncover.
- Add noodles over top of casserole.
- Bake for 10 minutes, uncovered.
- Serve hot.
