- 24 ripe tomatoes
- 3 bell peppers
- 3 hot peppers
- 4 large onions
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. ground cloves
Method
- Mix together all ingredients and cook until thickened (approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours).
- If you want this hotter, add 2 more hot peppers.
- Yields 6 pints.
