- 12 medium onions
- 1 (5 lb.) cabbage
- 10 green tomatoes
- 12 green peppers
- 6 sweet red peppers
- 1/2 c. salt
- 6 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 4 c. vinegar
- 2 c. water
- 1 small onion
- 2 hard-cooked eggs
- 2 c. canned kidney beans, drained
- 3 stalks celery
- 1 heaping Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 2 tsp. mustard relish or capers
- 1 tsp. curry powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Chop onion, celery and eggs together.
- Add rest of ingredients.
- Refrigerate 1/2 hour.
- Can be made ahead.
- Can not be frozen.
