Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 very ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/4 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. chopped black walnuts or pecans
Method
- Cream margarine and sugar.
- Add eggs and bananas.
- Sift dry ingredients together; add buttermilk and vanilla.
- Fold in chopped nuts.
- Combine 2 mixtures.
- Bake in greased loaf pan at 325° to 350° for 1 hour or until bread tests done.
