Ingredients
- 6 to 9 large cukes, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 onion, sliced thin
- 1 green pepper, sliced thin
- 1 c. vinegar
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. mustard seed
- 2 tsp. celery seed
Method
- Mix first 4 ingredients and let stand 1 hour and drain.
- Mix 1 cup vinegar, 2 cups sugar, 2 tablespoons mustard seed, and 2 tablespoons celery seed.
- Boil 1 minute then cool to warm and pour over pickles.
- Keeps in refrigerator for weeks.
