Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Cream butter and sugars.
  • Add eggs and spices.
  • Add sifted dry ingredients.
  • Add peanut butter.
  • Add nuts; form into a roll. Wrap in wax paper.
  • Refrigerate several hours.
  • Slice 1/8-inch to 1/4-inch thick.
  • Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 375° for 10 minutes or until done.
