Ingredients
- 1 small head red cabbage
- 2 apples (unpeeled), cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. apple cider
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Method
- Cut cabbage into 1/2-inch strips and place into saucepan with apples and remaining ingredients.
- Simmer until cabbage is tender. May have to add more vinegar, sugar or salt for your own taste.
