Ingredients
- 1 (18 oz.) pkg. butter-pecan cake mix
- 1 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. French vanilla instant pudding and pie filling
- 1 c. hot water
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 Tbsp. poppy seed
Method
- Combine first
- five ingredients in a large mixing bowl, beat well.
- Stir in pecans and poppy seed.
- Pour batter into a greased 9 x 5
- x 3-inch loaf pan.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 5 minutes or
- until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool in
- pan 10 minutes, remove from pan and cool on a wire rack. Yields 1 loaf.
