- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 3 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 pkg. lasagna noodles
- 2 c. cream-style cottage cheese
- 12 oz. Mozzarella cheese
- 2 enveloped spaghetti sauce mix
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Method
- Brown meat in heavy skillet; pour off fat.
- Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic and spaghetti sauce mix.
- Simmer 30 minutes. Cook lasagna noodles in salted water.
- Drain carefully.
- Grease long rectangular baking dish.
- Layer noodles, sauce, cottage cheese and Mozzarella cheese.
- Continue layers and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
- Serves 8.
