- 1 lb. hamburg
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 c. rice, cooked
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 can cut green beans, drained
- 3 Tbsp. chopped pimentos
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 c. milk
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Brown hamburg and onions.
- Add seasonings, rice and 1/2 cup cheese.
- Turn into a 2-quart casserole.
- Top with green beans and pimentos.
- Blend soup, mayonnaise and milk.
- Pour over beans.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Bake in preheated oven 30 minutes.
