Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburg
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3 c. rice, cooked
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cut green beans, drained
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped pimentos
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. milk

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Brown hamburg and onions.
  • Add seasonings, rice and 1/2 cup cheese.
  • Turn into a 2-quart casserole.
  • Top with green beans and pimentos.
  • Blend soup, mayonnaise and milk.
  • Pour over beans.
  • Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • Bake in preheated oven 30 minutes.
