Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 (14 oz.) can (1 1/3 c.) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 slightly beaten egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Method

  • Melt 1 cup of the chocolate pieces; stir in graham cracker crumbs, sweetened condensed milk, egg and vanilla.
  • Mix well. Stir in remaining chocolate pieces and nuts.
  • Spread mixture in a well-greased and floured 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  • Bake in a 350° oven for about 35 minutes.
  • Cool on a wire rack; cut into squares.
  • Makes 36.
