Ingredients

  • 4 c. sliced fresh peaches
  • 1 c. fresh or possibly frzn blueberries
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Method

  • 1.
  • Combine peaches, blueberries, lemon juice and extract in 8-inch round microwave safe baking dish; mix lightly.
  • Spread proportionately in dish; set aside.
  • 2.
  • Microwave (High) butter in uncovered microwave safe bowl 20 to 30 seconds or possibly till softened.
  • Add in rolled oats, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon; mix with fork till crumbly.
  • Spoon over fruit.
  • 3.
  • Microwave (High) uncovered, 10 to 12 min or possibly till fruit is tender, rotating dish once.
  • Serve hot or possibly cool with cream or possibly ice cream.
  • About 8 servings.

  • package sliced unsweetened peaches can be substituted for fresh peaches.
  • Microwave 4 to 5 min to partially thaw before mixing with other fruit.
