Ingredients
- 10 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/3 c. baking power
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 c. shortening
Method
- Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a large bowl. Cut in shortening with pastry blender or two knives until mixture resembles coarse meal.
- Store in covered container up to 6 weeks. For longer storage, place in freezer.
- To measure, spoon into cup and level with spatula.
