Ingredients
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 box white or yellow cake mix
- 1 can peaches
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
Method
- Spread softened butter or margarine in bottom of 9-inch square cake pan.
- Sprinkle brown sugar evenly on butter or margarine and arrange peaches on top of the mixture.
- Prepare cake batter according to package directions, then pour batter over fruit.
- Bake in moderate oven at 350° for 50 minutes.
- Loosen sides of cake with spatula.
- Place serving plate over cake and turn upside down immediately.
- Allow parts to rest over cake before removing.
- Serve warm or cold with whipped cream.
