Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 6 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 c. unsifted self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Method
- Melt butter or margarine in saucepan over low heat.
- Stir in cocoa and sugar.
- Turn off heat and add eggs (one at a time), beating well with wire whisk after each addition.
- Blend in vanilla.
- Add flour, stirring until blended.
- Turn into greased 9-inch square baking pan.
- Top with pecans.
- Heat oven to 350°. Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
