Ingredients
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Combine sugar and cornstarch.
- Heat milk to boiling point and stir into sugar, cornstarch and salt.
- Stir until slightly thickened.
- Add beaten egg yolks.
- Cook until thick.
- Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.
