Ingredients

  • 20 c. unsalted popped corn
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. Karo syrup
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Method

  • Put corn into 2 brown paper grocery bags (1 inside the other). Boil together in microwave for 2 minutes the brown sugar, Karo syrup and margarine.
  • Remove from microwave.
  • Stir in baking soda. Pour over popped corn.
  • Mix well.
  • Fold open ends of bags over. Microwave on High 4 1/2 minutes, removing after 1 minute each time and shaking well.
  • Pour out onto waxed paper to cool.
  • Store in airtight container.
