Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 c. mashed pumpkin
- 1/2 stick butter
- 6 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs (whole)
- 1 c. canned cream
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- pinch of cloves
Method
- Slowly heat pumpkin and butter together until butter is melted.
- Mix sugar, flour and salt; add to pumpkin.
- Beat eggs well; add cream and flavoring.
- Then fold in stiffly beaten eggs. Pour into 2 unbaked pie shells.
- Bake at 375° for 25 minutes or until firm.
- Makes 2 pies.
