Ingredients
- 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
- 2 c. mini marshmallows
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 8 oz. Cool Whip
- 2 to 3 apples, diced (unpeeled)
- 1/2 c. Spanish peanuts
Method
- Drain juice from pineapple and save.
- Mix pineapple with marshmallows in a small bowl.
- In a large bowl, mix pineapple juice, flour, sugar, egg and vinegar.
- Place this mixture in a saucepan, heating it until thick.
- Place in refrigerator to cool. When cool, mix with Cool Whip.
- Fold Cool Whip mixture into marshmallow and pineapple mixture.
- Add apples and peanuts.
