Ingredients

  • 500g pumpkin gnocchi
  • canola cooking spray
  • 1 onion, finely chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
  • 4 rashers lean bacon, trimmed of all visible fat and sliced
  • 1/3 cup red wine or port
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 tablespoon basil, shredded
  • 1/4 cup KRAFT* Grated Parmesan Cheese

Method

  • Boil the pumpkin gnocchi according to the directions on the pack.
  • Spray a saucepan with oil and saute the onion and bacon for 3-5 minutes.
  • Stir in the wine and salsa, simmer for 10 minutes, then stir in the basil.
  • Serve the cooked gnocchi into serving bowls, spoon over sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan and serve immediately.
