Ingredients

  • 3 c. pumpkin (1 large can)
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • 3/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 16 1/2 oz. white cake mix

Method

  • Mix together all ingredients, except the cake mix.
  • Beat well and pour into a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Sprinkle the dry cake mix on top of the pumpkin mixture and pat down lightly.
  • Drizzle 1/2 cup melted butter on top of cake mix; sprinkle with nuts. Bake for 40 to 60 minutes at 350°.
