Ingredients
- 3 c. pumpkin (1 large can)
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 3/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 16 1/2 oz. white cake mix
Method
- Mix together all ingredients, except the cake mix.
- Beat well and pour into a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix on top of the pumpkin mixture and pat down lightly.
- Drizzle 1/2 cup melted butter on top of cake mix; sprinkle with nuts. Bake for 40 to 60 minutes at 350°.
