Ingredients

  • 2 cups Crisco
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 (16 ounce) can pumpkin
  • 2 eggs
  • 12 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 12 teaspoon allspice
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups raisins
  • 1 cup black walnut
  • 4 cups plain flour

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Cream together the Crisco, sugar, and brown sugar together until smooth.
  • Add remaining ingredients except the flour; mix until well blended.
  • Add the flour a cup at a time.
  • Drop by heaping teaspoonful onto cookie sheets.
  • Bake cookies 12 to 15 minutes; let cool.
