Ingredients
- 1 c. shortening
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 6 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- dash of salt
Method
- Cream shortening and sugar together.
- Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with eggs (one at a time).
- Add lemon juice, vanilla and salt.
- Bake in a greased and floured
- Bundt pan at 300° for about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
- Let cool slightly before removing from pan.
