Ingredients
- 3 c. diced potatoes
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. instant chicken bouillon
- 2 c. milk, divided
- 3 Tbsp. flour
Method
- Combine potatoes, celery, onion, water, seasonings and bouillon in a 2-quart saucepan.
- Bring to boil.
- Cover and cook on medium for 15 minutes.
- Combine 1/4 cup milk with flour until smooth.
- Add flour mixture, remaining milk and butter to potato mixture.
- Cook over medium heat until boiling, stirring constantly.
