Ingredients
- approximately 10 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 carrots, thinly sliced
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 stick butter
- 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
Method
- Combine potatoes, onion, celery, carrots and salt in large kettle.
- Cover with water and boil approximately 30 minutes (until tender).
- Mix milk and cream of chicken (or mushroom) soup together in separate bowl.
- Reduce heat first, then add milk mix. Stir constantly until mixed well.
- Add butter.
- Let simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
