Ingredients

  • 2 lb. frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 10 oz. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 2 c. crushed corn flakes
  • 1/4 c. melted butter

Method

  • Combine potatoes with 1/2 cup melted butter in a large bowl. Add salt, pepper, onion, cream of chicken soup, sour cream and cheese.
  • Pour into a greased casserole.
  • Cover with corn flakes mixed with 1/4 cup melted butter.
  • Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
