Ingredients
- 3 lb. chuck roast
- 1 (11 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 8 medium carrots, cut crosswise into halves
- 8 small potatoes
- 2 Tbsp. water
Method
- Place piece of foil, 30 x 18-inches, in ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Place beef in pan.
- Mix mushroom soup and onion soup mix.
- Spread over beef.
- Add vegetables.
- Sprinkle with water. Fold foil over and seal.
- Cook in a 300° oven 4 hours.
- Skim fat from gravy. Serve gravy with beef. Serves 8.
