Ingredients

  • 3-4 pound boneless rump roast
  • 1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 env. Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1/2 can water
  • Oven roasting bag
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch mixed with 1/4 c. cool water

Method

  • Place roast in oven roasting bag, place in roasting pan.
  • Mix cranberry sauce, 1/2 can water and onion soup mix, pour over roast.
  • Secure bag, poke holes in top of bag and bake roast at 350 degrees for 2 1/2 hrs.
  • Remove roast from bag, drain sauce into roasting pan.
  • Over medium on top of stove heat sauce till it boils and thicken with cornstarch and water mix.
  • Serve roast with sauce and noodles.
