Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 4 onions, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 6 carrots, sliced
  • 4 celery stalks, chopped
  • 3 or 4 sprigs parsley
  • sliced potatoes
  • a little water
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Method

  • Quickly sear pork chops in skillet.
  • Lightly brown onions. Place chops and onions in casserole and add tomatoes, carrots, celery stalks and parsley.
  • Place a layer of sliced potatoes on top.
  • Add a little water, pepper and salt to skillet and pour into casserole dish.
  • Bake for 1 hour at 350°.
  • When three parts cooked, pour a can of cream of mushroom soup over chops.
  • Mix and finish baking.
