Ingredients
- 4 c. water
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 1 stalk celery, sliced
- 1 tsp. peppercorn
- 4 (4 oz.) salmon steaks
Method
- Combine first five ingredients in a large skillet; bring to boil over medium heat.
- Cover; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Add salmon steaks.
- Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
- Remove skillet from heat and let stand 8 minutes.
- Remove salmon steak to serving plate; serve with horseradish sauce.
- Yields 4 servings.
