Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix (without pudding)
  • 1 pkg. (small) instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 c. dry sherry
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 2 Tbsp. poppy seed

Method

  • Preheat oven to 325°.
  • Grease and flour Bundt pan.
  • In mixing bowl, combine all ingredients at medium speed; beat about 4 minutes.
  • Pour batter into pan.
  • Pound pan on counter a few times to get air out.
  • Bake 60 minutes.
  • Cool in pan for 30 minutes. Turn out and finish cooling.
  • Dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
  • Cut into slices and freeze, if you want.
