Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburg
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. cracker crumbs
- 1 small onion, chopped fine
- 1 can mushroom, cream of potato or cream of chicken soup
Method
- Mix ingredients, except soup, well;
- shape in a narrow loaf pan.
- Let it set for at least 8 hours or overnight.
- Cut in slices and fry until brown.
- Put slices in layers in a roaster or flat baking dish.
- Spread the soup on each piece (use one whole can). Cover and bake for 1 hour in a 325° oven.
