Ingredients
- 4 slices salt pork (could use fresh pork or 1/4 lb. oleo)
- 4 c. water
- 1 qt. chopped tomatoes (either canned or fresh)
- 1 large onion
- 1 c. carrots
- 1 c. green beans
- 2 c. potatoes
- 1 c. cabbage or any vegetables from garden
Method
- Fry pork until crisp.
- Brown onion in fat.
- Add rest of ingredients.
- Cook slowly 1 to 2 hours.
