Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 4 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 6 oz. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic
  • 1 (8 oz.) box twist macaroni
  • 1 pkg. pepperoni

Method

  • Brown meat and onion.
  • Add tomato sauce, using 1/4 cup water to rinse cans. Add spices and let simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Cook macaroni per directions on box.
  • Add to beef mixture.
  • Put half of beef and macaroni mixture in a greased casserole dish. Layer cheese on top and add rest of beef and macaroni. Top with pepperoni. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
