Ingredients
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 c. pineapple, sliced
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 c. water
- 1/3 c. oil
- 3 eggs
- cherries on top
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Place melted margarine in 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
- Sprinkle brown sugar over butter and lay in the pineapple.
- Prepare cake batter; combine cake mix, water, oil and eggs at low speed until moistened.
- Beat 2 minutes at high speed. Bake 35 to 40 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool in pan 10 minutes.
- Turn pan upside-down.
- Top with cherries in pineapple if desired.
