Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 pkg. spice cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 c. reserved pineapple juice and water

Method

  • Bake in an electric frypan.
  • Line skillet with waxed paper. Melt margarine in skillet at 200°.
  • Turn selector off.
  • Spread brown sugar, then spread with crushed pineapple.
  • Prepare cake mix, adding 2 eggs and 1/3 cup of pineapple juice.
  • Pour cake batter into frypan.
  • Turn heat selector to 270°.
  • Cover with frypan lid, open vent.
  • Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
