- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. hot sausage
- 1 diced onion
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 tbsp. oregano
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 bell pepper (optional)
- 1 stalk celery (optional)
- 2 small cans tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp. mustard
- 2 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2/3 c. hickory smoked BBQ sauce
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 2 large cans pork & beans (or enough to fill crock pot)
Method
- Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours.
