Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. hot sausage
  • 1 diced onion
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. thyme
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1 tbsp. oregano
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 bell pepper (optional)
  • 1 stalk celery (optional)
  • 2 small cans tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp. mustard
  • 2 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 2/3 c. hickory smoked BBQ sauce
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 2 large cans pork & beans (or enough to fill crock pot)

Method

  • Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours.
