Ingredients

  • 250 grams Pork belly, sliced thinly
  • 1 pack Bean sprouts
  • 1 bunch Shiso leaves
  • 1 tbsp Cooking oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Ginger (grated)
  • 4 tbsp Mentsuyu (3x concentrate)
  • 3 tbsp Cooking sake
  • 3 tbsp Mirin
  • 1/2 Onion (grated)

Method

  • Boil the bean sprouts.
  • Grate the ginger and onion and cut the meat into bite-sized pieces.
  • Put the ingredients in a bowl and mix it well.
  • Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan and stir fry the meat.
  • When the meat is cooked through, add the mixed ingredients and cook until the moisture evaporates.
  • Serve the meat on a bed of bean sprout and shiso leaves!
  • My family likes to season the bean sprouts with mayo.
