Ingredients

  • 3 lb. sliced spareribs
  • 1 c. pineapple juice
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. ajinomoto
  • fresh ginger and garlic, grated
  • 2 Tbsp. shoyu
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 4 Tbsp. water

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Put sliced spareribs in shallow pan. Combine pineapple juice, vinegar, brown sugar, ajinomoto, ginger, garlic, shoyu and salt.
  • Mix sauce with spoon until mixture is dissolved thoroughly.
  • Mix cornstarch and water; add to mixture. Pour over spareribs.
  • Bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 350°.
