Ingredients
- 3 lb. sliced spareribs
- 1 c. pineapple juice
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. ajinomoto
- fresh ginger and garlic, grated
- 2 Tbsp. shoyu
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 4 Tbsp. water
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Put sliced spareribs in shallow pan. Combine pineapple juice, vinegar, brown sugar, ajinomoto, ginger, garlic, shoyu and salt.
- Mix sauce with spoon until mixture is dissolved thoroughly.
- Mix cornstarch and water; add to mixture. Pour over spareribs.
- Bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 350°.
