Ingredients
- cake as directed
- 1 (13 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
- 1/2 c. brown sugar (packed)
- whipped cream
Method
- Bake cake in oblong pan as directed.
- Combine crushed pineapple with 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed).
- Bring to boil.
- With point of sharp knife, mark cake into 1-inch squares, cutting 1/2-inch deep.
- Spoon hot pineapple mixture over hot cake.
- Allow to cool.
- Serve with whipped cream.
