Ingredients
- 1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained (reserve juice)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. buttered cracker crumbs
Method
- Combine sugar, flour and 8 tablespoons of reserved pineapple juice; mix well.
- Add cheese and pineapple chunks.
- Mix all well. Pour into a 1-quart greased casserole.
- Combine melted butter and cracker crumbs; sprinkle over pineapple mixture.
- Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.
