Ingredients
- 4 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 large egg
Method
- Blend with a fork; then flour, sugar and salt.
- Cut in shortening until crumbly.
- In a small bowl, beat water, vinegar and egg.
- Add to flour mixture.
- Stir until moistened.
- Divide into 4 equal parts.
- Shape into balls ready for rolling.
- Wrap each in wax paper and refrigerate at least 1/2 hour.
- When ready to use, lightly flour both sides and roll out.
- Can be frozen.
