Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. pastry flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1/4 c. cold water
Method
- Add salt to flour and sift.
- Work in shortening with two knives until shortening is evenly mixed.
- Stir and moisten into dough with water; pat into ball and chill.
- Later cut off amount needed and roll out on a floured board with light, quick strokes to 1/8-inch thickness, working into circular form.
